Brrr it’s cold outside! Stewartsville has a low temperature of -3f. We don’t go below zero in southern portions of western New Jersey every winter

I wanted to pass along a nice graphic I came across about how to dress for cold weather. Of course for today the extreme cold on the right applies!

An arctic front was responsible for bringing us the batch of frigid temperatures. It was accompanied by snow squalls which blasted through the region.

So how long will the cold last? Thankfully not that long. Tonight will be another near zero night but we should recover to near 20 on Friday, the 30’s on Saturday and low 40’s on Sunday. Believe it or not we may see some 50’s on Tuesday!

Let’s hope the groundhog sees his shadow and we get an early Spring!
