There are two areas in the tropics that need watching. the first is investigation 95L as it’s called. The NHC gives this a 60% chance of development in the next 5 days. It will, unfortunately, impact the Bahamas with rain and wind it doesn’t need. Right now it doesn’t look like anything intense. Let’s hope it stays that way.
The second area is further to the east. The high-pressure system to the north will steer it near the same path that Dorian took. This needs to be monitored. A couple of long-range computer models do develop this into a tropical system.
