NIGHT...
.Low pressure will intensify near the Northeast coast on Friday.
This will bring strong to potentially damaging northwest winds to
the region Friday and Friday night.

...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING...
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a High
Wind Watch, which is in effect from Friday morning through
Saturday morning.
* WINDS...Northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
* TIMING...Strong winds will develop during the morning hours
Friday from south to north across the watch area. Winds will
peak during the late morning through the early evening hours
before diminishing somewhat late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Numerous power outages are possible. Additionally, rain may
change to snow Friday and Friday evening, especially northwest
of Philadelphia. The snow combined with the wind may produce
localized whiteout conditions. Travel may become very difficult
as a result.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A High Wind Watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph...or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.
