Chilly start on Saturday morning with lows in the single digits in many areas. Stewartsville had a low of 12. Today will feature mostly sunny skies with highs near 30. there will be a slight breeze but nothing like yesterday.
Increasing clouds tonight will yield warmer overnight low temperatures. Look for a wintry mix of sleet and snow to develop on Sunday during the day but will quickly turn to rain in southern locations. There a coating to 1″ is possible before the changeover. Further to the north and west could see a little more accumulation
Looking long range cooler conditions look to stay around until around mid month and then warm up slightly to normal values. There are some signs after that we may have above normal temperatures but too soon to ell for sure. Let’s hope the groundhog is wrong!
