Hopefully you were able to get outside yesterday and enjoy a top 10 weather day. Low humidity was delightful. I personally was able to get in a 30 mile bicycle ride and it was great.
Heat and humidity are returning to our area and will be here through Sunday at least. Today will see temperatures at 90 or slightly above. The trend should continue everyday with the possible exception of Thursday. Thursday may only be in the 80’s due to cloud cover as the remnants of Barry pass overhead.
There is an excessive heat watch to our south. Look for this to be extended further north if conditions warrant.
Wednesday evening and overnight into Thursday morning look to be the greatest potential for precipitation for western New Jersey. There could be some heavier showers and thundershowers then but nothing too severe looking at this point. The above map show a potential for only marginal severe weather threat for Wednesday. That’s a 1 out of 5.
