If you’re the type of person that likes a white Christmas (who doesn’t!), then I suggest you move up you celebration this year to tomorrow. Most areas of western New Jersey received a coating of snow courtesy of the snow squalls that moved through our area Wednesday afternoon.
But that is the last snow that is forecast between now and Christmas. After a very cold spell tonight into the weekend, temperatures will start to warm up on Sunday. In fact, we may be flirting with near 50 early next week. With temperatures like that any snow on the ground now will be long melted.
Historically our area has about a 20% chance of seeing a white Christmas. This year it’s less than 5% 🙁
So I think we’ll all be seeing a green Christmas this year. You can always break out the song to get you in the mood!
