Today marks the third day in a row of our high temperature in Stewartsville reaching 90 or higher. That makes the 4th heatwave of the summer so far.
Today, while hot, was not quite as humid as the day before. Sure it’s humid out but just not quite as uncomfortable as previous days. Perhaps we’re all just getting used to the heat and humidity!
I expect little if any showers or thundershowers the rest of today and tonight.
Tomorrow will be more active as far as showers and thundershowers are concerned. the SPC has placed our entire area in a slight risk for severe weather tomorrow, Wednesday. I expect the most active time frame to be late afternoon into the evening as it looks right now.
While tomorrow will be continued hot, I expect our high temperature to remain just below 90 in the mid to upper 80’s.
Thursday will be a little cooler but the threat of showers and thundershowers remain. Then the payoff awaits as beautiful September-like weather arrives for Friday through the weekend!
