I’ve kidded before that going through the hurricane is the fun part. The miserable part starts when you don’t have electricity for 7-10 days afterwards which means no A/C, limited gasoline since many stations don’t have generators (hopefully more do now a days since Sandy). And let’s not discuss the freezerful of food that will spoil if you don’t consume it fast enough.
