Severe weather threat for today has shifted very far to our south. This doesn’t mean we won’t see a thunderstorm or two. It means that the best dynamics to produce severe weather in western New Jersey are no longer forecast to be in our area.

As a result the Flash Flood Watch has been removed for all of western New Jersey. Bucks county in PA is the closest county that still has the Flash Flood Watch. We still have the potential for 1/2″ of rain today and tonight.
One things that has not shifted lower is the humidity. One step outside this morning will remind you it’s still summer. After today’s weather we will see high temperatures in the mid to upper 80’s with a near daily chance of a scattered afternoon summer thundershower. The average high temperature is now 83 so we will be mostly above average this week.
Event cancelled. Flash Flood Watch from 8/13/2019 2:00 PM to 8/14/2019 12:00 AM EDT for Hunterdon County, NJ, Northampton County, PA, Warren County, NJ. More information.
